Roles & permissions

Give every officer exactly the access their role requires, down to a single field on a single member profile.

Control access across the suite with four roles: Admin, RVP, Branch Exec, and Member. Each decides what a user can see, edit, export, and manage, and each has a reach: an RVP sees their region, a branch exec their branch. Anything outside that reach stays locked until you open it on purpose.

Go far beyond turning a feature on or off. Show or hide single parts of a member profile, like salary, home address, sensitive dates, dues, and change history. Let a role edit some details but not others, and give one person more, or less, than their role normally allows. Every change is saved, dated, and stamped with who made it.

What you get

Four roles, fine control

Admin, RVP, Branch Exec, and Member each have their own settings for members, branches, grievances, anniversaries, seniority, exports, imports, email, the comms calendar, and forms.

Control by field and by section

Pick which parts of a member profile a role can see, like salary, employment, union, contact, home address, sensitive dates, notes, and change history. Then pick which details it can edit.

Exceptions for one person

Change one user's access without changing their role. Give a trusted exec a bit more, or lock one account down a bit more, one setting at a time.

Control reach

Decide on its own whether a user can see members and profile parts outside their region or branch, so reach never spills over by accident.

Live, tracked changes

Switches save right away and take effect within seconds. Changed roles are marked with who changed them last and when, and you can reset any to the standard setup in one click.

Tools to save time

Turn every setting for a role on or off at once. Filter the list by group. Hover over any setting to read a plain-language note on what it does.

How it works

1

Add a user

Add their email to the approved list. Give them a role and set their region or branch.

2

Set what each role can do

Open the role settings and turn each one on or off. Your changes apply across the whole suite.

3

Add exceptions

If one person needs something different, adjust their access on top of their role.

4

Review and reset

See who changed a role last and when. Reset any role to the standard setup in one click.
